Nothing quite says I love you like food! Gift the one you love this Valentine’s with some heart-shaped strawberry pastries that they won’t be able to say no to!

Ingredients
- 2 x sheets puff pastry
- Heart cutter
- 2oz cream cheese
- 1 ½ tbsp strawberry jam
- Small diced strawberries
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- Coconut Oil
Method
- Defrost the puff pastry halfway throwing defrosting preheat the oven to 200°C
- Whilst the pastry is defrosting, mix together cream cheese and jam, ensuring there are no large lumps
- Place in the fridge until ready to use, it’s ready to use once the mixture is no longer runny
- Cut the pastry into heart shapes for both the bottom and top of the mixture
- Transfer the bottom of the hearts onto a baking tray lined with coconut oil lined baking paper
- Whisk the egg and water together in a bowl and set aside
- Add one tsp of the cream cheese mixture to the centre of each heart then begin to spread outwards without covering the edge
- Next layer the strawberry mixture on top of the cream cheese without taking it to the edge, using a finger brush the edge of the pastry with the water and egg mixture
- Lightly cut an X in your top heart then place on top of the strawberry mixture pushing the edges downwards with a fork, using a finger brush the edge with the egg and water mixture
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown
- Pop on a cooling rack to cool & share with the one(s) you LOVE!
